EU Regulations
Article 43 of Annex 17 of the EU REACH regulation explicitly prohibits the use of azo dyes that can decompose and produce aromatic amines at concentrations exceeding 30mg/kg in textiles and leather products that come into long-term contact with human skin.
China Standards
GB 18401-2010 "National Basic Safety Technical Specification for Textile Products" specifies the limit requirements for the prohibition of azo dyes in textiles, which is consistent with EU standards.
The list of banned aromatic amines includes 24 carcinogenic aromatic amines, which must not exceed a concentration of 30mg/kg in textiles and leather products.
