What is the Australian GEMS Certification?

GEMS (Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards) is an Australian greenhouse gas and energy efficiency minimum standards regime, involving energy efficiency ratings and energy consumption limit management, applicable to specific energy-related products for market access and labeling.

The Purpose of GEMS Certification

To ensure that products meet energy efficiency regulations, standardize energy efficiency labels and market disclosures, and reduce regulatory risks.

Typically conducted in conjunction with RCM/SAA safety and EMC assessments to form a complete compliance solution.
